The PM II A course – Agile and Hybrid Project Management follows on from PM II and focuses on agile project management tools.
An important part is a management simulation in which participants verify agile principles in practice and connect the exercise with application to their own projects.
- Real agility must be experienced. The simulation is designed to give you a hands-on experience of agile practices and their impact on project management success.
- You will learn agile practices in a clear and understandable way
The working methods used in training programs are chosen to ensure interactivity, adapt the content to the needs of the participants, and prioritize the transfer of knowledge into practice.
- To become familiar with the principles of agile management: what a sprint is, how to track the value delivered in a project, and how to work with a backlog.
- Practically try out the elements of agile project management and their use for projects with traditional management – hybrid project management.
- In two rounds of the management simulation, you will try increasing management flexibility and, thanks to team decisions, you will verify your ability to better respond to changes in projects.
First round of simulation
- Agile project assignment
- Division of teams and agile roles (customer, product manager, scrum master, team member)
- How will we measure the success of an agile project
- Transforming customer requirements into a work backlog
- Practical simulation of agile development: pre-planning, stand-up, sprint, demo
- Retrospective: lessons and experiences
Prerequisites for implementing agility and rules for agile teams
- When are we ready for agile transformation?
- Kanban – rules and procedures
- Scrum – rules and procedures
- Preparing for the second round of simulation and proposing improvements
Second round of simulation
- Velocity estimation and visualization of the gained value (burn-down chart)
- Application of agile principles to team work
- Retrospective: lessons and experiences
For course participants, we offer the possibility of subsequent application support in the form of individual consultation with a lecturer or in the form of workshops directly at the client.
